WHO WE ARE:
Changing Lives is dedicated to enriching the lives of homeless women, men and children in the South County community and other local communities. Our organization offers basic needs resources, health and wellness referrals, sobriety counseling and housing, mentorship, employment placement and more. Our goal is to meet immediate basic needs and provide access to transitional services that support individuals’ return to independent and self-sustaining living.
What We Do
Changing Lives is committed to provide the following support and resources:
- Transitional housing and immediate emergency housing/shelter
- Access to drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers
- Mental health counseling
- Referrals, transportation and scholarships for job and vocational training programs
- Grants for small business start-ups
- Food, clothes, toiletries, hot showers, haircuts
- Assistance with applications for Governmental subsidies
- Food stamp applications
- Family reunification
