Vital Documents & Housing Case Help
Help for the Homeless takes place on Thursdays every week, except on holidays, at the Changing Lives office in Downtown Boca Raton, one block south of Glades on Dixie Highway.
Help obtaining identification and credentials necessary for obtaining benefits and entitlements is a critical need of the local homeless community. Changing Lives works to help individuals in need get identification documents that may have been lost or never applied for. Specialists provide resources for people to apply and follow through with applications and registrations.
South Florida housing costs have skyrocketed over the past two years. This has created an even greater strain on economically vulnerable people. Housing case help assists individuals in need of shelter locate and apply for housing assistance. Changing Lives works in partnership with other local charitable organizations, coordinating with shelters and programs, providing access to resources necessary for sustainable residency.
